Melissa Platner

Head of Institutional and Consultant Relations, Impax

Melissa Platner is the Director of Consultant Relations at Impax Asset Management LLC, the North American division of Impax Asset Management Group and investment adviser to Impax Funds. In this role, Melissa works to increase awareness about and adoption of the firm’s investment strategies among institutional investors and consultants.

Melissa works to increase awareness and adoption of the firm’s sustainable investing strategies among institutional investors and consultants.

Prior to joining Impax in 2017, Melissa was a VP and Senior Consultant Relations Liaison with SSGA and GE Asset Management. Before that she held roles in consultant relations, sales and retirement market product development with Hartford Life and ING. Melissa started her career with Morgan Stanley in 2000.

Melissa holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities licenses and is a registered representative of Foreside Financial Services, LLC. She is pursuing a certificate in Sustainable Finance from Columbia University. Melissa earned an MBA from the University of Connecticut and a bachelor’s degree from Davidson College. She is a CAIA charterholder.
