Our global event featured panel sessions focused on the opportunities and risks for investors around energy, water, and net zero

This November, global leaders and policymakers are coming together with the task of making the Paris climate goals, negotiated in 2015, a reality.

To address the drivers of climate change and to mitigate its effects, finance must be urgently mobilised. This is a key focus at the UN COP26 conference, hosted in the UK city of Glasgow.

Impax is a strong advocate of collaboration between the policy and investment communities, and Ian Simm, founder and chief executive, and Chris Dodwell, head of policy and advocacy, will be participating in policy debates at the global summit.

We will be sharing their perspectives here in the run up to COP26, and in its aftermath. Depending on the outcome of negotiations in Glasgow, we could have a clearer understanding of how global net zero goals might be achieved – and what this means for investors.
