Portfolio Manager
Stefan is a Portfolio Manager of the US Short Duration High Yield and Global Short Maturity High Yield strategies.
Stefan joined Impax Asset Management in April 2025. He began his career in venture capital, after which he transitioned to asset management at State Street Global Advisors, working on a range of client-facing and management responsibilities for German and Austrian institutional clients and consultants.
He later joined SKY Harbor Capital Management, where he was Managing Director of its German entity and Director of its SICAV umbrella fund. He subsequently moved to the investment team as a Senior Analyst covering multiple sectors and was a member of the sustainable themes and portfolio management working groups related to their sustainable investment strategies.
Stefan holds a Master of Science with Distinction in Corporate Finance and Investment from London Metropolitan University. He is a CFA charter holder and a member of the CFA Society New York.
