Co-Head of Stewardship
Robyn Lockyer is a member of the Impax Sustainability Centre and is responsible for overseeing the firm’s global stewardship activities, including investee company engagement and shareholder voting. Robyn provides sustainability research, governance and stewardship insights, working closely with the Listed Investments team across Impax’s core and thematic equity strategies, as well as its fixed income funds. Robyn leads several collaborative engagement initiatives with clients and serves as Impax’s thematic engagement lead on Nature and AI Governance. She has co chaired the firm’s Environment Group since 2022 and is an active member of the Wellbeing Group.
Before joining Impax in June 2021, Robyn worked as a consultant at Sancroft, advising international clients on a broad range of thematic sustainability issues. She has also held analyst roles with the Carbon Trust, Met Office, and the Scottish Government.
Robyn holds an MA in Geography from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Carbon Management from the University of Edinburgh. She also holds the CFA UK Certificate in Sustainable Investing.
