Head of Thematic Research
Paolo is Head of Thematic Research at Impax. He leads the development and governance of the firm’s Thematic Universe of equities and associated taxonomies, ensuring their integration across the investment process. He also oversees Impax’s impact measurement efforts and is a member of the Sustainable Investment Research Leadership team (SIRL) in Impax’s Sustainability Centre.
Paolo joined Impax in 2013 after working as analyst for a long/short natural resources equity fund at Pactum Asset Management. Prior to that, he was a research engineer at Politecnico di Torino’s Department of Energy, where he worked on sustainable mobility projects.
He holds an MBA in International Management from ESCP Business School, and both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering from Politecnico di Torino.
