Chris is a Managing Director in the Sustainable and Impact Investing Group of Cambridge Associates, based in London. Chris works on investment research and implementation in client portfolios across the ESG and impact spectrum.
Prior to joining Cambridge, Chris was the Programme Director at the Montpelier Foundation in London, making impact investments aiming to help disadvantaged communities in emerging countries, the UK and USA. The foundation invests in sectors such as agriculture, sustainable energy, education, and access to finance and essential services. He remains a Trustee on the foundation board.
The foundation was set up by Montpelier Investment Management, an alternative investment fund in London investing in emerging markets. Chris was a Partner and Senior Analyst in the firm, heading up investment research across asset classes, examining listed and private opportunities in equity and debt.
Chris began his investment career in 2003 at Threadneedle Investments in London, as an equities analyst and fund manager. He worked in the Emerging Markets team on Global Emerging Market and Latin American portfolios, alongside broader global sector research responsibilities.
