Co-Head of Private Equity Infrastructure, Executive Director
Andrew joined Impax in 2026 and is jointly responsible for the firm’s Private Equity Infrastructure activities alongside Carsten Johansen and Daniel von Preyss. He is a member of the NEF IV Investment Committee.
Andrew joined from UBS Asset Management, where he was Head of Infrastructure Equity, leading a US$4 billion investment business focused on mid-market energy, digital, and transport infrastructure investments across Europe and North America.
Prior to UBS, Andrew was a Managing Director at Canada Pension Plan Investments (2017–2022), within the Infrastructure, Real Assets business, where he assisted in managing a global infrastructure equity portfolio of US$20 billion. He began his career in infrastructure at John Laing plc in 2002 before becoming a founding member of the RREEF Infrastructure European team (now DWS) in 2006.
Andrew has held numerous non-executive director roles at portfolio companies across the transport, energy, and telecommunications sectors.
He is a CFA Charterholder and member of the ICAEW.
