Global Financials Research Analyst, Director
Alan Devlin is the Global Financial sector specialist at Impax, supporting all the funds invested in financials. Specialising in researching stocks globally with a focus on the insurance, banks, and diversified financial sectors.
Alan joined Impax in October 2023. Prior to Impax, Alan spent 20 years on the sell-side and was an Executive Director and Head of the European Insurance Research team at Goldman Sachs in London. Alan was previously at Shore Capital and Barclays, where he co-headed the European Insurance Research team. Alan started his career at Ernst & Young where he qualified as an accountant, and started his sell-side career at Atlantic Equities where he focused on US insurance companies.
Alan has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Queen University of Belfast (First Class Honours) and is both a qualified accountant (ACA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
