London, 20 June 2023 – Impax Asset Management (“Impax”), the specialist asset manager investing in the transition to a more sustainable global economy, today announced the appointment of Manish Bishnoi as a Portfolio Manager, based in Hong Kong.
Manish will join Oscar Yang as Co-Portfolio Manager of Impax’s Asian Environmental and Asian Opportunities strategies from October 2023. He will succeed Kirsteen Morrison, who has been Interim Co-Portfolio Manager on both strategies since David Li passed away unexpectedly in October 2022.
Manish has more than a decade of experience in Asian equities, with expertise in portfolio management, fundamental equity investing, thematic investing, ESG integration and stewardship.
Manish joins Impax from Macquarie Asset Management, where he was a Portfolio Manager on the Asian Progress Fund. Previously he was Senior Investment Analyst at Macquarie, focusing on Asian Thematic Investments. Manish has a Bachelor of Software Engineering (first-class) from the University of Melbourne, a Certificate in Sustainable Finance from the University of Cambridge and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
