London, 5 April 2023 – Impax Asset Management (“Impax”), the specialist asset manager investing in the transition to a more sustainable global economy, has appointed Matt Carter to the Business Development team as Director of UK Intermediary Distribution.
Matt joins Impax from Sarasin & Partners, where he was responsible for the distribution of thematic funds and outsourced investment solutions to financial intermediaries. Prior to joining Sarasin, he worked for EPIC Investment Partners and UBS Asset Management.
Matt will be responsible for Impax’s distribution of investment strategies to UK wealth managers and family offices, including its range of Ireland-based UCITS funds and Impax Environmental Markets plc, the UK’s largest environmental investment trust.1 Based in London, Matt reports to Paul Voûte, Head of Distribution, Europe & Asia-Pacific.
