Teresa Kong

Independent Trustee, Impax Funds

Teresa has served as an Independent Trustee since August 2024 and is a member of the Audit and Governance Committees.

Teresa has over 25 years of experience in investment management, capital markets, and corporate strategy. She was a former Executive Committee member, Head of Fixed Income and Portfolio Manager at Matthews Asia and served as the former Head of Emerging Market Investments at BlackRock (formerly Barclays Global Investors). Teresa also worked in high yield and credit at Invesco (formerly OppenheimerFunds), at JP Morgan in structured products, capital markets and advisory. She also worked at the World Bank in international development.

Teresa holds an MA in International Policy Studies and BA in Economics and Political Science from Stanford University and has a Certificate in Cryptocurrency from MIT. She enjoys volunteering with mission-aligned organizations, including serving as co-Founder & co-Head of Ascend Leadership’s Mentor Circle, The Bretton-Woods Committee’s Future of Finance Working Group, and the Berkeley High Athletic Fund Board. Teresa was selected as Finalist for 50 Women to Watch for Boards by 50/50 Women on Boards™ in 2024.
