Greg has been an Independent Trustee since January 2023.
Greg has substantial experience in the asset management industry, having represented mutual funds, independent directors and asset management firms during his 40-year career at Ropes & Gray LLP. He held various leadership positions at the firm, including as a member of the management committee and chair of the investment management group. For approximately 15 years, until his retirement in 2020, Greg led Ropes & Gray’s representation of the Impax Funds and their independent trustees. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Boston College Law School, having created a course dedicated to Asset Management Law and Regulation.
Greg received an A.B., magna cum laude, from Harvard College and a J.D. from the UC Berkeley School of Law, where he was executive editor of the California Law Review. He has earned several awards, including The Best Lawyers in America and “Independent Director Counsel of the Year” for the work he did for the Impax Funds Trustees.
