Deborah Christie is a Managing Director for Cambridge Associates LLC. She specializes in manager research covering United States and Canadian equities, as well as women portfolio managers and gender lens investing.
Deborah authored the Cambridge reports “Gender Lens Investing — Impact Opportunities Through Gender Equity” and “Investing for Climate Justice: An Intersectional Approach.”
Deborah is a member of the Public Investments rating committee and Chair of a Cambridge Women’s employee resource group committee. Prior to rejoining Cambridge Associates in 2011, Deborah co-founded Great Oak Investment Management. As Director of Research and Chief Compliance Officer, she oversaw the firm’s research on small-cap equities and managed its compliance program. Prior to that she served as a Research Consultant at Cambridge Associates. Deborah started her career in finance at Willamette Management Associates.
Deborah earned her MBA at Georgetown University and a BA in Economics and Internal Relations at the University of California at Davis. She is an ambassador for Girls Who Invest and serves on the board of directors of the Solar Village Project, which helps underserved communities access solar power.
