Chief Financial Officer
Charlie oversees Impax Asset Management’s finance, investor relations, and legal functions, as well as the firm’s governance process. He also previously oversaw other corporate service functions, such as operations, IT, compliance, risk and HR. His experience in senior roles at major financial firms means he brings vital insight on commercial and strategic matters.
Before joining Impax Asset Management in 2008, Charlie was the Chief Financial Officer at Deutsche Bank’s UK Asset & Wealth Management business, having risen through the ranks during his 13-year tenure at the firm. He joined Deutsche Bank from S G Warburg & Co, where he was an internal audit manager, a position he secured having started his finance career in 1987 at Ernst & Young as an audit supervisor.
Charlie holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science from Durham University and is a chartered accountant.
