Executive Vice President, Statkraft
Birgitte Vartdal is the Executive Vice President in Statkraft with the responsibility for the business unit European wind and Solar.
She previously had the position as CEO in Golden Ocean. She has also worked as CFO in Golden Ocean and held different management positions in the Torvald Klaveness Group. Birgitte started her career in Hydro Energy as a structuring analyst, working with portfolio management, cross border trading and sales of structured products within the electricity markets both in Norway and continental Europe. She has a MSc in Engineering Mathematics from NTNU and has a MSc in Financial Mathematics from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.
