Non-Executive Director
Annette joined our board in June 2022 and is a member of the Audit & Risk Committee, which she chairs, and the Remuneration Committee. She is the Senior Independent Director and the Board sponsor of the Environment Group.
With more than 20 years’ experience in the private equity and venture capital sectors, Annette brings with her a wealth of experience from her previous roles as Partner and COO of Finch Capital, and as founding CFO of Palamon Capital Partners, a European growth investor. Annette also worked in the insurance industry for FTSE 100-listed company, Sedgwick, an insurance broker, and as Chief Financial Officer for LSE-listed Windsor. She started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Annette is a graduate of the University of Johannesburg. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. She serves as a non-executive director and adviser to several international companies, and is also founder and Chair of the Board of Trustees of ADHD Embrace, a UK-registered charity.
