Sallie Krawcheck

CEO & Cofounder of Ellevest, Pax Ellevate Consultant

In 2014, Sallie collaborated with Impax President Joe Keefe to create the Pax Ellevate Global Women’s Leadership Fund, which invests in the highest-rated companies in the world in advancing women’s leadership.

Today, that Fund is the oldest and largest in the gender lens investing space, and Sallie serves as consultant to the Pax Ellevate team.

Sallie is the CEO and co-founder of Ellevest, a digital-first, mission-driven investment platform for women. Ellevest is one of the fastest growing digital investment platforms and has been named a #24 on CNBC’s top 50 “Disruptor” list, #14 on LinkedIn’s 50 “Most Sought-After Startups” (and #2 in New York) and one of Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top 100 Brilliant Ideas. She was also Chief Financial Officer for Citigroup. Prior to that, she was a top-ranked research analyst covering the securities industry.

Sallie received a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA with honors from Columbia Business School.

Joseph Keefe

President, Impax North America

Joe is President of Impax Asset Management LLC, the North American division of Impax Asset Management Group and investment adviser to Pax World Funds.

Joe Keefe is President of Impax Asset Management LLC, the North American division of Impax Asset Management Group and investment adviser to Pax World Funds. He is responsible for distribution of Impax’s full capabilities across North America.

Prior to joining the firm in May 2005, Joe was President of NewCircle Communications, a strategic consulting and communications firm specializing in corporate social responsibility and public policy communications. He served as Senior Advisor for Strategic Social Policy at Calvert Group from 2003-2005 and as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Citizens Advisers from 1997-2000. He is a former member of the Board of Directors (2000-2006) of US SIF, the trade association representing asset managers and investors engaged in sustainable investing throughout the United States. Before entering the investment management industry, Joe worked in private law practice for 16 years.

Joe holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from the College of the Holy Cross.

Kelly Baldoni

Head of Global Women’s Strategies

Kelly Baldoni is Head of Global Women’s Strategies at Impax Asset Management LLC, the North American division of Impax Asset Management Group and investment adviser to Pax World Funds. She oversees national sales and marketing initiatives for the firm’s gender lens strategies and is a product specialist for the Pax Ellevate Global Women’s Leadership Fund.

Since joining Impax in 2014, Kelly has honed and expanded the firm’s practice management resources, which help institutions and financial advisors more effectively engage with and serve women investors as well as the next generation of clients.

Kelly is an expert on impact and gender lens investing. She contributes articles to industry publications and is a regular presenter at industry conferences and events nationwide.

Kelly holds the FINRA Series 6, 63 and 65 registrations and is a registered representative of Foreside Financial Services, LLC. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in human rights from Trinity College and is a graduate of Wharton’s Women’s Executive Leadership program.

Kweilin Ellingrud

Senior Partner, McKinsey & Company

Kweilin leads McKinsey & Company’s life insurance practice in North America.

During her 22 years with the company, she has overseen multiple global transformations, integrated operations and strategy to empower employees and improved efficiency and effectiveness. Kweilin became the first woman to lead McKinsey & Company’s Minneapolis location in 2012. 

Kweilin is a McKinsey Global Institute Director and has led numerous research efforts on topics including gender equality, the impact of COVID-19 on jobs and the future of work in a post-COVID-19 world.  

Before McKinsey, Kweilin worked at the Center for Women & Enterprise, a nonprofit that helps women entrepreneurs start and grow businesses. 

Kweilin earned an MBA at Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in economics and political science at Harvard University. She serves on the boards of @Makers and the Greater Twin Cities United Way. Kweilin lives in Minneapolis with her husband and three daughters.  

David Loehwing, VP for Sustainable Investing, Pax World Funds

David Loehwing

Vice President, Sustainable Investing, Impax

David Loehwing is Vice President of Sustainable Investing at Impax Asset Management LLC, the North American division of Impax Asset Management Group and investment adviser to Pax World Funds.

He is responsible for environmental, social and governance-related research on prospective and current investments, and he leads the construction and management of the Impax Systematic ESG Rating. He is also a member of the Impax Gender Analytics Team.

David has worked in sustainable investing since 1998. Before joining Impax in 2007, he served as Senior Social Research Analyst at Citizens Advisers and as a Senior Account Manager at the Investor Responsibility Research Center. He is a former member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) Advisory Committee on Corporate Social Responsibility and the Sustainable Investment Research Analyst Network’s steering committee.

David is a graduate of Bowdoin College.

Deborah S. Christie, CFA

Managing Director, Cambridge Associates

Deborah Christie is a Managing Director for Cambridge Associates LLC. She specializes in manager research covering United States and Canadian equities, as well as women portfolio managers and gender lens investing.

Deborah authored the Cambridge reports “Gender Lens Investing — Impact Opportunities Through Gender Equity” and “Investing for Climate Justice: An Intersectional Approach.”

Deborah is a member of the Public Investments rating committee and Chair of a Cambridge Women’s employee resource group committee. Prior to rejoining Cambridge Associates in 2011, Deborah co-founded Great Oak Investment Management. As Director of Research and Chief Compliance Officer, she oversaw the firm’s research on small-cap equities and managed its compliance program. Prior to that she served as a Research Consultant at Cambridge Associates. Deborah started her career in finance at Willamette Management Associates.

Deborah earned her MBA at Georgetown University and a BA in Economics and Internal Relations at the University of California at Davis. She is an ambassador for Girls Who Invest and serves on the board of directors of the Solar Village Project, which helps underserved communities access solar power.

Kiley Miller

Director of ESG Investment Solutions, Envestnet PMC

Kiley leads environmental, social and governance (ESG) product development and management for Envestnet PMC’s suite of offerings, including ESG-focused managed portfolios and PMC Research ESG due diligence.

She also oversees ESG and impact data relationships and strategic development of ESG and impact reporting initiatives.

Prior to joining PMC in 2019, Kiley served as a senior client advisor at Sustainalytics, an ESG research, ratings and analytics firm, where she supported US asset managers in integrating ESG research into the investment process. Before that she worked at the UN Principles for Responsible Investment.

Kiley holds a Master of Science in sustainability management from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in environmental sustainability from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Kiley is a CFA Level III Candidate.

Kristin Reynolds

Senior Consultant, NEPC

Kristin leads NEPC’s endowment and foundation practice, where she specializes in Total Enterprise Management; asset allocation and portfolio construction; modeling and implementation of spending-based asset allocation studies; and evaluation and selection of alternative investment managers.

She is a member of the Partners’ Research Committee, which sets direction for firm research.

Kristin developed a model for Total Enterprise Management (TEM) that integrates the short-term operational needs of an organization with its long-term goals. TEM is an extension of Kristin’s “Spending in an Integrated Asset Liability Framework” whitepaper, which discusses the model that analyzes the spending requirements of endowment and foundation clients.

Before joining NEPC, Kristin worked at Citigroup Asset Management, specializing in executive compensation structures for large corporate clients. Prior to her investment career, she worked as a loan service officer at a community cooperative bank.

Kristin earned an MBA from Simmons Graduate School of Management and a BA in finance and economics from Simmons University. She is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and the CFA Institute. Kristin became a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designee in 2008.

John Molesphini

Global Head of Insights, Nasdaq

John Molesphini is Global Head of Insights for the Investment Intelligence unit of Nasdaq, which includes eVestment, of whose leadership team John is also a member.

In these roles, John focuses on enhancing relationships with client firms and discussing industry trends and eVestment’s data and analysis with client and industry audiences.

John has held many roles with eVestment since joining the firm in 2006. He served as Global Head of Client Success, where he managed client experience efforts, and he was Director of the firm’s Global Sales Specialist team as well as an Omni Specialist on the eVestment Business Development team and Vice President and Manager of Client Service.

Before joining eVestment, John spent four years at INVESCO, where he managed marketing support services, including consultant database reporting and analytics. John started his career as a financial advisor with Quick & Reilly, which is now part of Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Lily S. Trager

Managing Director, Head of Investing with Impact, Morgan Stanley

As Head of Investing with Impact at Morgan Stanley, Lily Trager provides individuals, families and institutional clients with investment products and solutions to help them capture the opportunities and mitigate risks posed by key sustainability and impact themes.

Before joining Morgan Stanley in 2014, Lily served as Head of Research and Due Diligence at Veris Wealth Partners in New York, a registered investment advisory that serves clients who are interested in sustainable and impact investing. Lily started her career at Cambridge Associates in Boston, where she worked on teams overseeing $3.9 billion in nonprofit, high-net-worth and foundation investment portfolios.

Lily was named to the 2018 class of MAKERS @ Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, which celebrates groundbreaking women who are advocates and innovators in their field. She co-founded Women Investing for a Sustainable Economy (WISE) in 2012, a professional networking group with eight global chapters.

Lily earned her MBA in sustainable business from Presidio Graduate School (formerly Bainbridge Graduate Institute) and her Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from Bates College. She and her family live in Manhattan.

Sally Bridgeland

Chair

Sally joined the board as a Non-Executive Director in July 2015 and was appointed Chair in December 2020. Sally is a member of the Remuneration Committee.

She is currently a non-executive director of Royal London, Pension Insurance Corporation plc, Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Limited and the Local Pensions Partnership Ltd, having worked in the UK pensions industry for 30 years.

Originally qualifying as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries with consultants Bacon & Woodrow (now Aon), she was CEO of the BP Pension Fund from 2007-2014. Sally held a number of voluntary roles with the actuarial profession and was the first lady Master of the Worshipful Company of Actuaries 2016-17.

Diana van Maasdijk

Cofounder & CEO, Equileap

Diana van Maasdijk is Co-Founder and CEO of Equileap, the leading provider of data and insights on gender equality in the corporate sector.

Equileap aims to accelerate progress toward gender equality in the workplace. Based in Amsterdam, the company researches and ranks more than 4,000 global public companies through its Gender Equality Scorecard™, which uses 19 criteria, including pay equity, parental leave, sexual harassment and gender balance in the workforce, in senior management and on the board of directors.

Diana has significant experience in philanthropy and social impact investing. Prior to launching Equileap she served as Head of Philanthropy at ABN AMRO Private Bank and Director of Development at Mama Cash, the world’s oldest international women’s fund.

Diana earned a Master of Arts in international development from American University and a Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College.

Heather Smith

Vice President, Lead Sustainability Research Analyst, Impax

Heather Smith is a Vice President, Sustainable Investing, and Lead Sustainability Research Analyst at Impax Asset Management LLC, the North American division of Impax Asset Management Group and investment adviser to Pax World Funds.

She researches and evaluates the environmental, social and governance performance of companies for potential inclusion in the firm’s portfolios. She is also a member of the Impax Gender Analytics Team. Heather helps oversee the firm’s proxy voting and coordinates its gender‑related shareholder engagements.

Before joining the firm in 2007, Heather was a Legislative Aide for the New Hampshire State Senate. She received a bachelor’s degree in political science and an MBA from the University of New Hampshire. She has also served as a member of the Sustainable Investment Research Analyst Network steering committee.

Jackie VanderBrug

Head of Sustainable Investing, Bank of America Merrill Lynch

Jackie VanderBrug is a Managing Director and Head of Sustainable & Impact Investment Strategy for the Chief Investment Office within Bank of America Corporation.

She is responsible for driving sustainability through the investment process, including thought leadership, strategy development, client experience and portfolio construction for individuals, institutions and foundations supporting both Merrill and Bank of America Private Bank.

Jackie believes that all investors should understand the power they have to make impact through their investments. Before joining Bank of America, she served as Managing Director at Criterion Ventures, where she worked with high-net-worth individuals and nonprofits on impact strategies and led the development of the field of gender lens investing. She also led business development for the technology firm iBasis, and she cofounded Work in Progress, a nonprofit social enterprise focused on career development for underprivileged youth.

Jackie earned her MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and her BS in mathematics from Calvin College. She is an Aspen Institute First Mover Fellow and serves on the Board of the Trustees of the Donations.

Julie Gorte, Ph.D.

Senior Vice President for Sustainable Investing, Impax

Julie Gorte is Senior Vice President for Sustainable Investing at Impax Asset Management LLC, the North American division of Impax Asset Management Group and investment adviser to Pax World Funds.

She oversees environmental, social and governance-related research on prospective and current investments as well as the firm’s shareholder engagement and public policy advocacy. Julie is also a member of the Impax Gender Analytics team.

Prior to joining the firm, Julie served as Vice President and Chief Social Investment Strategist at Calvert. Her experience before she joined the investment world in 1999 includes a various number of roles. Julie spent nearly 14 years as Senior Associate and Project Director at the Congressional Office of Technology Assessment. Additionally, she has held the roles of Vice President for Economic and Environmental Research at The Wilderness Society, and Program Manager for Technology Programs in the Environmental Protection Agency’s policy office and Senior Associate at the Northeast-Midwest Institute.

Julie serves on the boards of the Endangered Species Coalition, E4theFuture, Clean Production Action and is the board chair of the Sustainable Investments Institute.

Julie received a Ph.D. and Master of Science in resource economics from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science in forest management at Northern Arizona University.

Angela Olden

Chief Financial Officer, Girl Scouts of the USA

Angela R. Olden is the chief financial officer for Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA). She oversees the financial management of the organization, including the controller, treasury and financial planning and analysis teams.

Before joining GSUSA, Angela served as CFO of Federation Employment and Guidance Service, Inc. (FEGS), one of the largest and most diversified nonprofit health and human services organizations, where she managed a $280 million budget and oversaw the finances of 14 subsidiaries. Prior to that, she served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, which provides funding for education and health and human services organizations. Angela spent 11 years as a financial executive for FMC Corporation.  

Angela earned her MBA in economics and marketing from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is a certified public accountant in New York and Pennsylvania. Angela is a proud Girl Scout alumna who co-led her daughter’s Girl Scout troop. 

Margaret Jadallah

Managing Director, Senior Consultant, Verus

As Managing Director of Verus, Margaret Jadallah provides strategic investment advice and ensures that clients meet their long‐term investment objectives.

She focuses on public fund consulting. Margaret is a member of the Verus investment committee, and she manages Verus’s emerging and diverse manager initiative.​ 

Before joining Verus in 2016, Margaret spent 14 years with Strategic Investment Solutions, where she was a founding member. There, she served as a generalist consultant and director of manager research. Prior to that Margaret oversaw client service, manager research and portfolio construction for Bivium Capital Partners. She also served as a consultant to ultra-high-net-worth individuals at Harris myCFO and as a senior manager of research at Callan Associates.     ​ 

Margaret sits on the finance and investment committee for the Stern Grove Festival. She served three years on the board of the San Mateo County Retirement Association.​ 

Margaret earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Smith College and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. 

Melissa Platner

Head of Institutional and Consultant Relations, Impax

Melissa Platner is the Director of Consultant Relations at Impax Asset Management LLC, the North American division of Impax Asset Management Group and investment adviser to Pax World Funds. In this role, Melissa works to increase awareness about and adoption of the firm’s investment strategies among institutional investors and consultants.

She is pursuing a certificate in Sustainable Finance from Columbia University. Melissa earned an MBA from the University of Connecticut and a bachelor’s degree from Davidson College. Lynette H. Jefferson

Managing Director, Head of Sustainable Investing & Inclusive Investment Solutions, UBS Wealth Management Advisory

Lynette Jefferson oversees delivery of UBS sustainable investment products and solutions.

She is responsible for driving advisor and client education, global collaboration, developing and executing marketing strategy, and supporting product distribution and deployment of tools and resources. Her team focuses on expanding the number of diverse investment managers and strategies that address diversity, equality and inclusion.

Lynette joined UBS in 2006. She built the firm’s custom platform for ultra-high net worth advising — the UBS Consolidated Advisory Program (CAP), which lets advisors deliver customized, holistic, portfolio-level advice under a single agreement. Prior to that, Lynette led product management for the firm’s Institutional Corporate Cash Management business.

Lynette is active in several UBS leadership programs and employee networks, particularly those related to diversity, equality and inclusion. She received the 2020 WMA Home Office Leadership award for outstanding volunteer efforts. She is an inaugural member of the newly formed UBS Americas DE&I Council.

Lynette earned an MBA in Finance from the New York University Stern School of Business and a BS in applied mathematics and statistics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

Jenifer Cannon, CAP®, CSRIC®

Vice President, National Accounts & Strategic Initiatives

Jenifer Cannon is Vice President, National Accounts & Strategic Initiatives, at Impax Asset Management LLC, the North American division of Impax Asset Management Group and investment adviser to Pax World Funds. Jenifer manages strategic relationships in the US intermediary channel. She specializes in thematic and philanthropic investing, gender lens investing, and practice management, with a particular focus on helping firms and their advisors integrate sustainable investing into their practices and client portfolios.

Jenifer has worked in the financial industry for more than two decades. Prior to joining Impax in 2018 she worked for Fidelity Investments, Putnam Investments and Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. in retail and institutional roles. She also held positions at The Boston Foundation and the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, where she worked closely with advisors and families to design charitable giving strategies. Jenifer has also helped foundations develop strategic plans for impactful giving and investing as well as multi-generational engagement.

Jenifer holds the FINRA Series 6, 63 and 65 registrations. She is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®), a 21/64 Certified Advisor, and a Chartered SRI Counselor (CSRIC®). She is also a registered representative of Foreside Financial Services, LLC.
