Effective engagement also provides an avenue for us to add value by encouraging companies to better manage their risks and to highlight issues that we believe pose the greatest challenges to the transition to a more sustainable economy.

Our stewardship strategy is currently focused on four core themes:

We engage directly with our portfolio companies, including meeting with management teams and filing shareholder resolutions, and undertake collaborative engagements with other investors on critical issues. Proxy voting is also an important catalyst for dialogue.
