The Consultant Relations/RFP team has been growing but despite that, many projects which have been on the agenda for some time have been put aside to focus on current deliverables as the volume of requests continues to increase. We’d like to bring an intern on to help support some of those projects, namely mapping out quarterly/annual/semi-annual deliverables so we can better anticipate resource needs, manage deadlines, and ensure that we are completing required diligence for our partners in a timely manner. This role will also help create reporting which can be shared broadly within the global Impax organization around key activities, including frequency/volume of requests, trends in strategy interest, due diligence meetings/recommended status, and contribute to other key areas of strategic development such as content and messaging for internal/external audiences.
The participant will be required to create a comprehensive map of our ongoing client/consultant requests for the NA distribution team (annual, quarterly DDQs, etc.) so that we can better plan and anticipate expected resource needs. The objective is to create a usable system for flagging potential upcoming requests with sales leads to avoid being on the back foot or receiving requests late, as well as managing work flow/resource needs.
The participant will also be asked to assist in the creation of a comprehensive system for CR/RFP/CS reporting which will provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on CRT activity. This includes volume as well focus strategies, meetings, key topics of inquiry, areas of growth/expansion, and buy ratings/recommended status updates.
- Collate existing information on previous/ongoing client and consultant requests, including strategy, sales lead/key contacts, length, and due dates
- Create an easy to use system for tracking CR/RFP/CS activities and develop a reporting mechanism to communicate that back to the broader distribution team.
- Secondary – Use existing templates to create consultant/intermediary firm profiles for assigned firms
- Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel required
- Pro-active and self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a team
- Highly organized and data-oriented
- Ability to identify areas for improvement and efficiency
- Ability to think strategically and analytically
- Knowledge of CRM systems would be beneficial
