Senior Portfolio Manager

Michael co-manages the Sustainable Food strategy with Agne Rackauskaite. He specializes in the Sustainable Food & Agriculture environmental sub-sectors. Michael researches stocks globally with a focus on Consumer Discretionary, Consumer Staples and Materials.

He has been advising investors and companies in the food and beverage industry since 1982. He was part of the highly rated Food Equity analysts team at Investec Securities/Henderson Crosthwaite, subsequently with Rabobank corporate finance, and most recently served as the manager of the Léman Focus Global Food & Agriculture fund at Helvetica Wealth Management Partners in Geneva.

Michael has a degree in Economics from King’s College, Cambridge, and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).

Lisa Beauvilain

Head of Sustainability & ESG, Executive Director

Lisa is responsible for the development and oversight of Impax’s Sustainability and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) analysis, including overseeing stewardship work in the Listed Equity team. She is the Chair of Impax’s ESG, Sustainability Lens and Environmental Committees and also Co-Heads Impax’s impact investment work.

Lisa joined Impax in 2010. She started working in the financial industry in 1999 and previously worked as an executive director in the Investment Management Division of Goldman Sachs in London. Lisa has also worked as an independent consultant, focusing on environmental policy research and analysis.

She is active within working groups and advisory councils relating to impact investing, water, governance and ESG standard setting with several external industry organisations.

Lisa has an MSc in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics as well as an MSc in Finance from the Hanken School of Economics, Finland.

Meg Brown

Chief Product & Marketing Officer, Executive Director

Meg leads the Global Product and Marketing Group at Impax, overseeing branding and marketing; communications; client experience and working with investment teams heads on product design and governance.

She has extensive experience in sustainability and investment research, having begun her career in 2002. As head of Citi’s top ranked Climate and Sustainable Investment Research team she worked with institutional and private clients across Europe on impact and responsible investment. Meg joined Impax in 2014 following a period as a consultant to private sector and not for profit clients in designing responsible investment strategies, including acting as the UK Liaison for the Global Impact Investing Network. Meg has a MSc in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and is a non-executive director of the Carbon Tracker Initiative.
