How Impax is ensuring business continuity in the current circumstances
Impax is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and has taken numerous steps to remain fully operational during this very unusual time.
In this regard, Impax is focused first and foremost on taking all reasonable precautions to protect the health and safety of its staff while continuing to provide full service to clients, shareholders and other stakeholders.
For many years, Impax has placed greater focus on remote working capabilities and has invested in technologies to ensure staff can work remotely safely and securely. These measures have allowed Impax to seamlessly adapt its working practices to manage client portfolios without disruption.
Impax already had robust contingency plans in place, including business continuity measures to maintain the resilience of its business and protect the health and safety of its clients, employees and guests. In addition, Impax has worked closely with its key service providers to ensure that they meet their obligations and that they have robust resilience plans in place.
As and when offices have opened, those who wish to attend in person do so on the understanding that they adopt local government advice in relation to self-isolation in the event of COVID-19 symptoms. To make its office environment as safe as possible, Impax continues to take precautionary measures with all staff, limiting the number of people present at any one time and regularly sanitizing office space and common areas at all global locations.
Impax has suspended business travel and converted in-person meetings to conference calls and/or videoconferences wherever feasible.
In light of this, individual teams are evolving their working practices to ensure good coordination and to maintain morale for an extended period of remote working and possible social isolation. Staff have been very supportive of these measures and the company has adapted well.
Impax will continue to monitor developments closely and keep clients informed of any changes to its business plans as the situation evolves.
